Does the homeowner need to be present at the time of the inspection?
Yes, it is to the homeowners benefit to be present at the time of inspection. AmeriSpec's job is not just to inspect the property, but also to educate the homeowner or potential buyer of the condition of the property, and this can only be achieved if you are present at the time of the inspection.
During course of the inspection, the inspector will explain the condition of the property. The inspector will give you the facts so you can make an informed decision on purchasing the property.
The inspector will provide you with a 15 to 20 page computer-related report in an AmeriSpec binder. The AmeriSpec Report® contains a letter of introduction explaining our service, our inspection report, a seasonal maintenance checklist and a complete 200 page home repair handbook.
All of our inspectors are trained through the AmeriSpec Technical Institute. The AmeriSpec Technical Institute adheres to the standards set by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
